I’ve seen many zoo schedules presented many different ways, often at the same zoo, because zoos have many kinds of events, from daily keeper talks to weekend camel rides to seasonal light displays to concerts to food fests. Many times I have had difficulty figuring out answers to my own questions about zoo schedules, so I’ve organized schedule information in a way I hope will work well.

I sometimes joke that my superpower is “I read signs”.

Someone: “That fact is super cool, where did you learn that?”

Me: “The plaque we walked past five minutes ago.”

I read all the signs in zoos. I follow info trails as deep as I can, but I’m often stymied. Because of that, the original vision for Discover Zoos is a site to learn all about zoo animals, in depth. Detailed conservation info, photos and past happenings, recorded keeper talks, everything.
