The Vision

I sometimes joke that my superpower is “I read signs”.

Someone: “That fact is super cool, where did you learn that?”

Me: “The plaque we walked past five minutes ago.”

I read all the signs in zoos. I follow info trails as deep as I can, but I’m often stymied. Because of that, the original vision for Discover Zoos is a site to learn all about zoo animals, in depth. Detailed conservation info, photos and past happenings, recorded keeper talks, everything.

Getting to that vision will take a long time and a lot of work, but that’s the target. I’m starting with core information that’s broadly applicable, then increasingly detailed information, and then activity feeds.
